Director Biography - Olivier Nelli

Graduating from renowned E.S.R.A film school in 1998, I directed my first short film, SPIRIT…, in 2000. In 2001, I met KILLERS, for whom I directed the band’s first DVD, DOCUMENTS 1999-2004.

In 2004, I joined the TDK Prod. Over several years, I directed and edited more than fifty live shows recordings while also directing the music video Dance For Me for the Parisian band THE OUTBURST.

In 2007, I co-founded NRV-TV, the first web TV channel dedicated to extreme and underground cultures.

In 2010, I directed VOUS AUTRES, a short film focused on cultural diversity. My meeting with producer Alain L’ÉVEILLÉ in 2011 then allowed me to bring a more ambitious project to life: TUNNEL, my third short film, completed in 2014.

In 2017, I directed NTA (Nuke Them All), an ultra-violent post-apocalyptic film that garnered many international festivals accolades and got a Collectible Blu-Ray release in North America.

In 2018 and 2019, I took part in the 15 Second Horror Film Challenge with VEGAN'S BLOOD, ranking 8th Best Comedy out of more than 500 entries, followed by HUNTERS, which won 2nd place for Best Special Effects ahead of 300+ selected productions.

In 2023, I directed BRAMBORK, a 15-minute short film introducing the universe of HOLY CHILD (Feature film search for financing). Multi-selected at festivals, it won Best French Film at the Paris Art and Movie Awards.

In 2024, I directed a documentary report about the CERNUNNOS PAGAN FEST then in 2026 I directed MLLE COSMÉTIK presented at the Nikon Film Festival, centered around the theme of fatal beauty. The film ranked 211th out of 2,500+ entries, and is currently continuing its successful festival run with multiple wins, including Best Body Horror Short Film, Best Film and Best Actress.
