Burning Question

Directed by Rosie Sirk

Runtime: 00:07:33

Country of Origin: United States

On a cold black-and-white night outside a monastery a nun, Hester, sits bleeding on after being bitten by a vampire. As she slowly transforms into a vampire demon herself, she mutters prayers, begs for forgiveness, and attempts to drive a wooden stake into her own heart, instructing Mary, a frightened novice nun who rushes to her aid, to burn her body if she dies so her soul may still reach heaven. After Hester impales herself, Mary drags her body to a field and places her atop a funeral pyre, but when she removes the stake to arrange Hester’s hands, she unknowingly awakens the newly vampiric Hester.
