Director Biography

Steve Rudzinski (Director/ Co-writer) knew he wanted to be a director ever since he saw Army of Darkness at the age of 12. Ever since then he has done everything he can to learn as much about filmmaking as possible. He started making short films in high school, poor features post graduation, and in 2011 finally started his true career with the release of The Slasher Hunter. Since then he has directed a film a year on average, including the Meowy/Wally film series (2017-2025) and stand alone original films such as Curtains for Christmas (2024). Several of these have been picked up for world-wide distribution and have graced store shelves, cable, and online VOD. Steve has won many awards in festivals over the years for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Filmmaker of Pittsburgh (2023 & 2024), and most important to him was winning a Fangoria Chainsaw Award for making the “Best Amityville” in 2023.
